With extraordinary interest, I follow all the street photography podcasts on Spotify, my weapon of choice. Not every podcast "keeps me full". For me, a podcast has to have the right amount of information, humour and openness. If a street photography podcast drones on, I quickly drop out. I had that with the Fujicast, for example.
Here are some of the podcasts that do keep me interested.
30 Minutes Shutter speed
Of course I put the podcast of Niels and myself at the top. Duh. A bit broader than just street photography, though.
Streetlife with Mark Davidson and John St.
Great examples. The fun and self-mockery radiates from them. And then interesting guests too.
Hit the Streets with Valérie Jardin
Golden oldie, because no new episodes, but particularly inspiring and content strong, I think! 192 episodes, so plenty to catch up on.
Frames Photography podcast
Also slightly broader, so pick your own interesting episodes from this archive of interviews from the well-known Frames Magazine.
Streets Unplugged
Sympathetic entry, as only a few episodes of this Luxembourg collective. But nice and smooth and interesting guests.
I hear what you see
My favourite photography magazine Focus Magazine has a podcast presented by street photographer Owen Schumacher, who in his own way joins other photographers as an assistant.
Prefer music?
I made a list of 5 hours of music about streets, photography and all that goes with it. Enough variety to walk with you on your next city trip!
