Street photography workshops in Eindhoven

Eindhoven is a city known for its creative street art, unique architecture and surprising interior designs. The city has a rich industrial history, which has resulted in a background of factory and warehouse buildings that have been renovated while retaining their original character. This makes Eindhoven an excellent city for street photography!

In my workshops I teach you to see differently to Eindhoven. Below street photography workshops are for beginners and people who have held a camera in their hands before. I'm sure I can show you things in a new way!

I prefer to book a 1-on-1 workshop

"During the workshop, we were given taught assignments after providing the necessary information and Michiel was open to questions and comments in addition to additions. The workshop is a good start or a nice and pleasant addition to your interest."

Street photography workshop in Eindhoven

The Randstad of the south. You shouldn't say it out loud, but of course Eindhoven can now easily compete with cities like The Hague and Utrecht. It is a city that is easy to reach by public transport, and parking is not yet screamingly expensive, but you do have the urban allure we know from the Randstad.

Eindhoven takes you through cosy streets where old and modern buildings alternate, and where a new building is being erected somewhere within walking distance. It is a stand that lends itself to black-and-white and colour photography, and a city where light always finds its way in a fantastic way. Join me on a street photography trail in Eindhoven!

In the workshop, I will teach you to hunt and fish. We will look at framing and capturing movement. And of course, if you have any questions of your own, we'll address them too!

About Michiel

I am Michiel Heijmans, professional street photographer. Together with friend Niels, I make the photography podcast 30 Minutes Shutter speed. My new photo book "The Observer" is in shops now (Komma Publishing, 2024).

For Photofacts I previously wrote the book "Straatfotobijbel" (2023). I also write monthly columns for Focus Magazine, the photography magazine of the Netherlands.

From the moment I immersed myself in street photography, I was hooked. I don't leave the house without a camera because street photography can be done anywhere!
