I can shout as much
Why should you hire me? In short: Because I really know all sides of the table. I have:
- Websites bought, designed, created, sold.
- Webshops set up, search engine and conversion optimisation done.
- Illustrations, photos and texts written for large and smaller websites.
- An extensive network of graphic designers, copywriters, website builders and hosting companies.
Let me take you through my career so far.
I started at Yoast as a senior consultant with site reviews, analysis reports related to the ease of use and effectiveness of a website. For both search engines and customers.
In the growing company, as operations director and co-owner, I contributed in areas such as HR and facilities management. In addition, I remained involved in marketing/sales and communications. My focus was on conversion optimisation of, among others, the webshop, website and all newsletters plus (product-related) e-mails.
Also including:
- Live website analysis at conferences and partners.
- Vlogging and writing content articles for the website and columns for the magazine.
Owner of quirky agency for practical internet consultancy and other internet-related projects (self-employed).
- What purpose does the website serve?
- Is that realistic and how is it easy to achieve?
- How does the website rank in search engines?
- What are concrete and practical areas for improvement?
- Can my company do anything and in what way with social media?
- How does this fit within available budgets (what can be saved on)?
