Repeat in yellow - Antwerp (2023)
As a street photographer, a city walk with no route and no end point is the rule rather than the exception. After hours on the street, sometimes your motivation runs out, and you walk back to your hotel, the train or simply your starting point with your head bowed.
In those moments, I sink into thought, and my eye registers only yellow. A yellow coat, umbrella, billboard. Unconsciously, I try to match the yellow colour in people with the yellow in the environment. Yellow, it's always yellow.
