I work from my studio at NYMA Makersplaats in Nijmegen, or I come to your office with a mobile studio. I bring all the necessary equipment to your location so the shoot can take place on site. This is not only practical and minimally disruptive to your working day, it also means employees are in a familiar environment, which helps create the relaxed atmosphere needed for good portraits.

What to expect from a mobile photo studio on location

A minimal setup with three reflectors, a flash with softbox and a plain background on location. When I work with a mobile studio on location, I bring everything needed to make professional portrait photos. I use one or more Profoto flash units, known for their reliability and excellent light quality. Good light is essential for a good portrait, and with this equipment I can ensure the light is always perfect, whatever the conditions on location. I also bring reflectors where needed to optimise the light and soften shadows.

For companies that want a consistent background for their portraits, I can bring a mobile backdrop as well. This ensures all portraits have a uniform look, which is especially useful for use on your website or in other marketing materials. The mobile studio lets me set up quickly and adapt to the space, so we can shoot with minimal interruptions. This matters particularly with larger teams, where time can be a significant factor.

By using a mobile studio, we can organise a shoot that fits seamlessly into your working environment without any compromise on the quality of the portraits. It makes it easy and comfortable for everyone to take part, and the end result is exactly what you had in mind.

How long does a portrait shoot take?

If you want a business portrait of yourself in several situations, indoors or outdoors, allow around an hour for three setups. For a full team, I work at an average of about seven minutes per portrait. Some people are done in a few minutes, others need a little more time to feel comfortable. I am happy to give them that time. So seven minutes, in the same setting, on average.
