In the Mid-Walcheren dialect, the rarely used word "oprèè" means something like "dressing yourself smartly", which is exactly what I thought when I saw this dress flutter in the wind. Even while cleaning the windows, you might as well make an effort with your outfit. Coincidentally, in the Ouddorp dialect the same word means "cleaning".
The flip-flops break up the image in red. The yellow points the way, and the triangle of dark elements completes the picture. This photo was part of a group exhibition in Paris (2023) and travels to Milan in 2024 for a second exhibition. From Domburg to the world!
