From above, the world looks completely different. Walking along the tracks in Nijmegen, neatly on the cycle path, I leaned over the railing. Below me the moon was shining and someone cycled past. There was time to wait, to anticipate the next cyclist.
I pressed the shutter, and looked at my screen, satisfied. It reminded me of the scene from E.T., that film from 1982. A modern take on a classic image. In black and white.
