I work in my studio in Nijmegen or at a location that is meaningful to you. We decide together what suits best. We take our time. There is room to settle in, to talk, to try things out. That makes the difference. It creates an atmosphere in which you can be yourself, without a mask.
As photographer Irving Penn put it so well:
"Sensitive people faced with the prospect of a camera portrait put on a face they think is the one they would like to show to the world… Every so often what lies behind the facade is rare and more wonderful than the subject knows or dares to believe."
