Street photography workshop EINDHOVEN
Eindhoven shows itself between the glass and concrete of buildings where design and engineering meet. Its strength lies in the tension: people moving through a city that was designed rather than grown. It is exactly there, between style and function, that photogenic moments happen.
- 10.30 to 14.00
- max. 5 participants
- lunch included
- book included

Welcome to Brabant, welcome to Eindhoven
Eindhoven is known for its creative street art, unusual architecture and surprising interior design. The city has a rich industrial history, which has left a backdrop of factories and warehouses renovated with their original character intact. That makes Eindhoven an excellent city for street photography.
In my workshops I teach you to look differently at Eindhoven. The workshops below are for beginners and for people who have held a camera plenty of times before. I am certain I can show you things in a new way.
During the workshop we were given assignments in stages, after being given the information we needed, and Michiel was open to questions and remarks as well as adding things himself. The workshop is a good start, or a fine and enjoyable addition to an interest you already have.Wilma de Roo, group street photography workshop
Street photography workshop in Eindhoven
The Randstad of the south. You should not say it out loud, but Eindhoven can hold its own against cities like The Hague and Utrecht by now. It is easy to reach by public transport, parking is not yet outrageously expensive, and it still has the urban swagger we know from the west of the country.
Eindhoven takes you through pleasant streets where old and modern buildings alternate, and where a new building is going up within walking distance in every direction. It is a city that lends itself to both black and white and colour, and a city where the light keeps finding its way in wonderful ways. Come out on the street with me in Eindhoven.
In the workshop I teach you to hunt and to fish. We look at framing and at capturing movement. And if you have questions of your own, we cover those too.
