These trips are for people who enjoy taking photos together. No anonymous large groups where someone always has the biggest mouth and demands the most attention—just small, friendly teams that get to know each other as they walk through the city. We talk a lot, look around a lot, and take even more photos. All at a relaxed pace. No stress. Just depth.
And along the way, you notice how quickly you’re growing. How you’re becoming more at ease. How your eye is getting sharper. How you’re starting to recognize your own style. Sometimes even in a single shot.
These two-day trips combine hands-on experience, fun, and clear assignments that help you see things differently. The approach is similar to my Conceptual Street Photography Workshop, but much longer, more intensive, and with the added bonus of a foreign city that magnifies everything: light, color, silence, sound, and people. Two days packed with inspiration that will stay with you long after you return home.
Paris doesn’t ask anything of you. You don’t have to be a tourist, an expert, or an art lover. All you have to do is look. Along the Bassin de la Villette, people sit with nowhere to go. In the alleys of Belleville, laundry hangs out to dry and music drifts from open windows. At Père-Lachaise, someone walks their dog, as if it were just a park. That is the real Paris, and that is exactly what we are going to photograph.
For two days, we’ll explore neighborhoods you won’t find on postcards. From the covered arcades around the Palais Royal to the hill of Montmartre, from the gritty Belleville to the cool shade of the Sacré-Cœur. I’ll show you how to navigate a city as a photographer—how to choose your moments, how to wait, how to take risks. You’ll go home with photos you’re proud of. And with a new way of seeing that will stay with you forever.

Learn to see things differently and capture your surroundings spontaneously, all based on a solid concept. Street Photography 2.0, focusing on what you want to create. It's a custom workshop, but with a group (max. 5 people).

In an unfamiliar city, you immediately step out of your routine, out of your daily grind. You notice things more quickly that you would normally miss. You walk differently. You react differently. And because you have two days, you experiment more and feel less pressure.

Paris is elegant, raw, chaotic, and serene all at once. It’s the perfect city for learning to see. We work a lot in black and white, we seek out the play of light in the City of Light, we wander through narrow streets, and we try to capture that quintessentially Parisian blend of romance and reality.
You’ll be given assignments that help you construct narratives, think in terms of scenes, and follow the light—all in the style of street photography with a touch of conceptual work, just like in my Conceptual Street Photography Workshop.

That’s exactly why London is a great place to hone your photographic instincts. You’ll learn to see through the chaos, find calm in busy situations, and discover how light behaves differently in a city where changing weather is part of the game.
We work a lot with rhythm, distance, and timing. You'll be given assignments that force you to choose frames and interpret stories through movement.

What does a two-day " masterclass " look like?
We usually start around ten o'clock. That gives us plenty of time to arrive at a leisurely pace.
We walk a lot, but we don't rush. We stop whenever it's a good time to talk, look around, or have a quick drink. On the first day, we focus mainly on the basics, rhythm, and lighting. On the second day, we dive deeper into stories, series, and personal style.
Every day ends around three, though we often keep walking longer. Sometimes because the light is just too beautiful, sometimes because conversations start that you don't want to end.
