Frequently asked questions
about my portraits

  • I create portraits that go beyond standard photos: they show who someone really is, with attention to character, atmosphere, and personal charisma. This can be done for entrepreneurs, creative professionals, authors, journalists, or anyone who wants to present themselves powerfully. Both personal portraits and editorial portraits for publications are possible.

  • Portrait shoots can take place at my studio in Wijchen, or at a location that suits you. This could be outdoors, in your workspace, studio, or a place that says something about you.

Our choice is made based on what best suits the desired end result.

  • The standard portrait shoot lasts an hour and a half.

Depending on your package, you will receive a certain number of edited photos; for example, 8 or 14 photos for a studio portrait.

Location shoots have a similar structure, with delivery times and selection options that we agree upon in advance.

  • I understand that very well. I work calmly, without forced poses, and take the time to create a relaxed atmosphere.

We talk, try things out together, and find what suits you best. When you feel comfortable, a portrait emerges that truly reflects who you are.

  • A fine art portrait focuses on timeless imagery, often in black and white, with attention to light, composition, and atmosphere.

An environmental portrait shows you in context: a place or setting that says something about who you are, your work, or your personality. Together, we choose what best suits your story.

  • Yes, I also take business portraits and team photos. For larger groups, I work quickly and efficiently, paying attention to individual charisma.

For headshots for LinkedIn or team portraits, we will discuss in advance which style and setting you would like.

  • After the shoot, you and I will select the images you want to have edited.

I provide professional post-processing so that the photos are ready for use on your website, LinkedIn, publications, or printed materials.

Although most of my portraits are in black and white, this is not a requirement. We will discuss the style of post-processing with you in advance to ensure it meets your requirements.

  • You can book a portrait shoot by contacting us via email or phone.

The prices for personal portraits are listed on the page, for example studio shoots or location shoots with various options.

For team portraits or editorial assignments, we discuss customization and planning in advance.

  • No, you don't need to bring a concrete plan. The most important thing is the desire to be seen, I think.

I will work with you on the setting, style, and look so that the portrait matches what you want to convey with your image.

What I often do is create a mood board on Pinterest together with the person being portrayed.
