Successful heath day? Ensure relaxation.

You know the drill. Trapped for hours in a stuffy room with a fantastic view of bare walls, and a window to the outside with a world you can't go to right now. You're having a heath day. Whether you are brainstorming with your team, your board of directors or your executive team, you are ready to clear your head for a while. You have a huge need for distraction, to create space in your head for new ideas. In need of recharging your battery.

Relaxation during hours of meetings

As a former director of several companies, I know exactly how you feel. And I also know that you're not going to completely exit the meeting or brainstorm (heidag) anyway. That's why during my workshops there is plenty of room to talk to that one colleague or companion after all. Of course. But I do give you a photography assignment. Just use your phone.

I encourage you to find different angles for your photos, as you may have been doing all along during that meeting. Together, we prevent your relaxing walk from becoming an extension of your meeting or brainstorming session. Get out of your head for a while.

Of course, my street photography workshops are also
ideally suited as part of your company outing!

Why a street photography workshop during your heath day?

By photographing, you can express your own perspective, emotions and stories in images. Photography can also help you discover and experiment with new ideas, techniques and styles. Photography can inspire you to think out of the box and sometimes push your boundaries. Photography stimulates more creative thinking and you will enjoy that for the rest of the day.

And it's an open door, but don't forget the usefulness of fresh air. Fresh air is essential during a day of meetings because it promotes your health, concentration, inspiration and creativity. It supplies your body and mind with oxygen, which gives you energy, removes waste products and stimulates your brain. Fresh air combined with natural daylight improves your mood, reduces stress, promotes creativity and strengthens your memory. Need I say more? Get outside with us!

How long the workshop lasts

Depending on how much time you have, I can tailor the workshop to your needs. From a minimum of an hour and a half to a maximum of three hours. The latter, of course, is perfect for a multi-day healing session! We work with a number of concrete assignments that make you look at things differently. I can adjust the number of assignments to the time, so the workshop is flexible. If desired, we can make a relaxed transition from brainstorming to workshop by starting with a 15-20-minute presentation on the art form that is street photography. It is bound to raise questions, which I am happy to answer as we take to the streets.

Do we need a camera then?

This is perhaps the most frequently asked question. The answer: yes, but the one on your phone is good enough, mind you. But if you have a camera, take it with you. Even if you have questions about it, or always shoot on automatic (auto or P mode). You can do just that little bit more with it. But my workshops are about looking differently at normal things, and any camera will do. In practice, out of 10 people there are often one or two people who shoot with a camera, the rest just use their phones. Just make sure you have a charged battery or bring a power bank!

Cost of the workshop

My workshops cost 250 euros per person. For that, you will also get my book Street Photography Bible, so you can also quietly read all and more after the workshop. If you have a taste for more with photography, you can have a great time with Photofacts' 100+ online courses (including my online Street Photography course). Everyone gets one month of free access!
If you want to join with more than 10 people, I will be happy to make a customised offer.
