Relaxed, informal and professional
Want a professional portrait photo but don't feel quite comfortable in front of the camera? Don't worry, you're not the only one. In my studio, I take the time to put you at ease. No stiff poses or awkward moments, just a relaxed photo shoot where together we look at what suits you.
No model? No problem!
Many people think you have to be a model to look good in photos. That is not the case. You just need a good portrait - for your work, your LinkedIn profile, or just because you want a really nice photo of yourself for once.
My approach is informal and professional at the same time. First, let's have half-hour, three-quarter-hour coffee/tea and get acquainted. Then we take time to get used to the camera, and I help you with simple directions and poses that feel natural.
A stress-free photo shoot
Upon entering the informal studio, we start with a brief explanation. Based on our conversation, we choose a background and lighting. No complicated stuff, just getting used to the setting.
We discuss what kind of look you want and how you will use the photo. Of course, we have already created a Pinterest board together, or browse through examples first. Then we take some test shots, so you can see what it will look like. Do you find it exciting? No problem, we only really get to work when you feel comfortable.
Natural photos your way
It's all about you. No forced smiles or awkward poses, but a portrait in which you recognise yourself. Depending on your wishes, I work with natural light and/or (subtle) external lighting to create a relaxed atmosphere.
We have the time. On average, we spend an hour and a half photographing. Running a little late is no problem. Together, we choose a few poses that suit you well and shoot different images. Of course I help you with poses or your gaze, and all your own input contributes to a relaxed photo. No pressure, you only have to make your selection afterwards.

The above prices are for personal portraits. For team portraits or editorial portraits I naturally charge different prices and we are not as long. Often I charge an average of 7 minutes per person, so several employees can be portrayed per hour. Contact us for prices and availability.
